A COPTIC WOODEN PALETTE
CIRCA 5TH-7TH CENTURY A.D.
With deep rectangular recess, at one end five small square recesses with remains of pigment, 10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) long; a rectangular wooden inscribed label incised with Greek letters reading "Tiberiou Caesaris", 1st Century A.D., 8¼ in. (21 cm.) long; and three wooden implements, 1st millennium A.D., 12¼ in. (31.1 cm.) long max. (5)
