The rectangular container containing a later inkwell and pounce-pot, painted in manganese and colours with a deer flanked by trees, the sides with a squirrel and hound, the back with a stag attacked by two hounds and the bow-shaped front with a hound chasing a deer above a band of foliage scrolls, surmounted by six ball finials and terminating on five ball feet (slight chips to front rim and three corners, chips to edges of inkwell and pounce-pot, rim of inkwell repaired)
