A CREE BEADED HIDE KNIFE SHEATH AND KNIFE
of tapering form, sinew sewn and contour beaded in numerous shades of opaque and translucent beads, decorated with a panel of diagonal bands surmounted by two panels of V-shaped bands, three floral elements at top, hide fringe with metal cones overall, some with remnants of red pigment and wrapped with purple-dyed porcupine quills; "stabber" knife enclosed, with bone handle, of "key-hole" form, and pointed metal blade, incised and perforated
