A DANISH FOUR-PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE
MARK OF CHRISTIAN RASMUSSEN, COPENHAGEN, CIRCA 1904
Each fluted oblong on four shell feet, with scroll handles, the coffee-pot and teapot with dolphin-mask spouts and domed covers with flower and leaf finials, comprising; teapot, coffee-pot, milk-jug and two-handled sugar-bowl, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, marked on base
9 in. (23 cm.) high
gross weight 48 oz. (1,500 gr.)
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (4)
