A DOUCAI 'MANDARIN DUCK’ DISH
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The dish is decorated on the exterior in doucai and iron-red with mandarin ducks in a lotus pond. The interior is decorated in famille noire with blossoming magnolia and chrysanthemum branches emerging next to ornamental rocks.
