A DOUCAI 'SANDUO' BOWL
18TH CENTURY
The rounded bowl is decorated with three fruiting and flowering sprays of pomegranate, lychee, and finger citron, the sanduo (Three Abundances). The base has an apocryphal Chenghua mark.
3 5/8 in. (9.1 cm.) diam.

Predominantly acquired in the 1970’s in the UK.
