A Dutch Delft blue and white Chinoiserie bottle vase, basin and bowl
Late 17th 18th Century
The vase of octagonal shape, painted in the Chinese Transitional manner to the lower section with panels of birds and flowers surmounted by a tall flaring neck with stylised leaves, 32 cm. high; a moulded oval basin painted to the interior with two Chinese figures in a landscape with a pagoda, surrounded by a band of composite flowers to the shaped rim, marked A/D/12/109, De Grieksche A, to the base, also inscribed Collectie Dr. J.A. Molhuysen no. 314, 35.9 cm. wide; and a ribbed bowl painted to the exterior with panels of flowers, the base inscribed with Collectie Dr. J.A. Molhuysen 322, 20 cm. diam., chips, frits and cracks (3)
