The waisted case with caddy top surmounted by a pierced foliate finial, the sides with trellis and flower-head filled hinged sound frets, the enamelled segmented dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, and date aperture, signed J.P. Kroese en Zoon, above a silvered ring inscribed AIR HOOR C MIJN WILHELMUS VAN MENUET BOERENBALLET TRIJNTIE LIEF indicating the tunes, surrounded by painted river landscape with classical ornaments on the shore and gentleman, the movement with a 19.5cm. long brass cylinder and 22 teeth playing on 11 bells, two bells above, the case Swiss, restorations and replacements
