The rounded sides are decorated with a procession of boys playing musical instruments including flute, drums and cymbals, one child holds a lantern and another a banner, others carry auspicious symbols, and one boy plays with a whirl. There is an apocryphal Qianlong mark to the base.

These lots have been imported from outside the EU for sale using a Temporary Import regime. Import VAT is payable (at 20%) on the Hammer price. VAT is also payable (at 20%) on the buyer’s Premium on a VAT inclusive basis.
