A famille rose coffee-pot and cover
Circa 1735-1740
After a Queen Anne silver prototype, the globular body moulded with vertically ribbed sides, painted with a pheasant perched on rockwork among branches of peony, repeated with similar flowers on the high domed cover, applied to the sides with S-shaped spout and scroll bracket handle (frittings, minute gilt retouch on the finial)
