REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-49), SHILU IRON-RED SEAL MARK
Of square sectioned form with a slightly waisted neck and everted rim, applied with a pair of iron-red and gilt bat handles above trailing peach branches, finely painted to the body with two panels depicting a group of scholars admiring the mountainous river landscape, and the further two panels with birds amongst lotus flower and foliage besides rocks, all reserved on a millefleurs ground.
