A FINE AND RARE GE-TYPE VASE, HU
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The pear-shaped vase is moulded on the shoulder with a raised rib and flanked with a pair of moulded monster masks with mock ring handles, below the waisted neck with a band of large leaves pendent from the flared rim, covered overall with a grey glaze of even tone suffused with a darker crackle, the footring dressed in a dark brown wash
