A FINE BRONZE MODEL CARRONADE
MID-19TH CENTURY
With tapering three-stage sighted barrel with large threaded cascabel, mounted on an ebony trolley with iron elevation adjusting screw, the trolley fitted to ivory rails forming a pivoting deck-mount, the whole mounted on a mahogany base with two fluted ivory capstans linked to the barrel and mount by ropes and pulleys
The base 11.1/2 in. (29 cm.) long, the barrel 5.5/8 in. (14.3 cm.)
