A fine fan signed Edouard Moreau, pinxt.1866, the verso signed Allonge, the leaf painted with eighteen vignettes against a gold ground, the ten to the left of Mediaeval love and tournament scenes, then two 17th century love scenes, two eighteenth century and two contemporary scenes of a girl dancing at a military camp and a couple riding, the verso painted with a chateau in a wood, signed Allonge on a large stone in the foreground, the mother of pearl sticks finely carved with classical figures and gilt and painted with twenty vignettes of classical scenes - 11in.
