A FINE KASHAN LUSTRE POTTERY BOWL of rounded form with vertical rim on high foot, the white interior painted in lustre with two seated figures wearing elaborately detailed robes decorated with arabesques, each with a nimbus, flanking a central chequered cypress tree, a small panel of arabesques below, a band of reserved naskh calligraphy around the rim, the exterior with a band of bold palmettes, early 13th century (intact, hair cracks, rim chip)
