The globular body painted to simulate 'heaping and piling' with a composite floral scroll above a band of lotus panels and classic scroll at the foot, with a trefoil cloud collar below another composite floral scroll around the shoulder, the tall neck with keyfret and upright plantain leaves, and breaking waves at the flaring mouth

Four vases of this pattern are illustrated by R. Krahl, Chinese Ceramics in the Topkapi Saray Museum, Istandbul, vol. III, London, 1986, p. 1105, no. 2564; where they have been fitted with metal mounts to suit Ottoman use.
