Oval, on oval reeded pedestal base, the lower body chased with bat's- wing fluting, the upper body engraved with a bright-cut leaf border beneath a reeded band, with two reeded loop handles, the domed cover with bat's-wing fluting and leaf ring finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms on the body and cover, marked on base and cover bezel
