A FINELY CARVED GREENISH-WHITE JADE DRAGON PENDANT
EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 5TH-4TH CENTURY BC
The flat plaque cut out in the shape of a rearing dragon with undulating body and curved, tapering tail, the features finely delineated by thin grooved lines, with a small suspension hole at the base of the upturned crest, the semi-translucent stone with some russet markings and opaque buff inclusions from alteration due to burial
