The Betsey, 80 tons, was a topsail schooner built at Exmouth, Devon in 1832. Owned by Vivian & Co., with her home port at Dartmouth, she traded out of Plymouth to various destinations including Terceira (in the Azores), Lisbon and the Mediterranean for about ten years after which she was relegated to purely coastal trade before disappearing from record in the early 1850's.
