A FRENCH EBONISED AND MARQUETRY CABINET-ON-STAND, late 19th century

Decorated with interlaced acanthus and foliate scrolls with vases of flowers, grotesques and dancing figures, the upper part with a moulded cornice and cushion frieze decorated with stiff-leaves, enclosed by a central panel door, flanked by similar panelled sides between fluted column stiles spirally-bound with ivy stems, the base fitted with three frieze drawers, one with a lock, the other two on spring catches, with a panelled back and similar column supports joined by an undertier and terminating in bun feet
