Rectangular box, the cover and base decorated with octagonal panels of horizontal wavy engine-turning forming a pattern of floating shuttles and flowerheads, within fluted bands, on a frosted ground stamped with trailing foliage, the corners stamped with floral motifs, the slightly concave sides stamped with similar bands, the cover centred by a rectangular blank reserve, very slightly raised thumbpiece
