SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
Of grand proportions, the superstructure with three-quarter gallery above ten short mahogany-lined drawers and a gilt-tooled black leather-lined writing surface, above two drawers and a coffre-fort, on turned tapering fluted legs with toupie feet, the drawers of the superstructure variously numbered and inscribed in pencil with later divide to central knee hole, with a paper label to underside of top inscribed 'No 2122 de Pierrelatte Chapon 21 t... (?)'
