A FRENCH TEAPOT, SUGAR-VASE AND COVER AND A BASTING SPOON, the teapot, circa 1840, urn-form on rim foot, two sides engraved with initials, one also with crest, with gadrooned band to shoulder and collar, with fluted spout, wood scroll handle, the raised hinged cover headed by fluted oblong finial--6in. (15.2cm.) high; the vase, 1819-1838, vase-shaped, the square pedestal base on four ball feet, the openwork body applied with Classical maidens holding a lute, with ram's head and cornacopiae scroll handles, the raised cover with wreath finial on radiating leaf and shell calyx, with clear glass inset--9in. (22.8cm.) high; the spoon, Paris, circa 1780; fiddle and thread pattern--weighable silver 40ooz.
