Probably late 19th Century
Of bright steel, comprising close-helmet with two-piece skull, low roped comb, single neck-plate at front and rear, visor and bevor pivoted at the same points on either side, the former with single stepped sight with central division and pierced with circular and almond-shaped breaths on the right, the latter shaped to the chin and with a pierced stud on the right to engage a swivel-hook fastened to the skull, plume-holder, gorget, cuirass with low medial ridge, tassets of five plates each, full arm-defences with fingered gauntlets (two finger-plates missing from the left gauntlet), and complete leg-harness with round-toed sabatons, the main edges turned and roped (some surface rust, some leathers broken): on wooden stand and plinth
