The rectangular padded back and drop-in seat covered in original floral needlework, the serpentine arms above a seat-rail centred by a shell, on cabriole legs headed by shells and acanthus, and terminating in claw-and-ball feet, the arms previously but not originally with padding, the back left foot tipped, the drop-in seat with original webbing and scrim
