Hanoverian pattern, engraved with the Spencer crest, comprising:
Twenty-four table-forks, further engraved with an earl's coronet
Twenty-four table-spoons
Ten dessert-spoons
Four basting-spoons
Four sauce ladles with shell bowls
A marrow scoop
Twenty-four table knives, further engraved with an earl's coronet
A meat fork

The crest is that of John Spencer, later 1st Earl Spencer. (92)
