Circa 1745, top probably reshaped and probably associated to base
The dished scalloped top tilting above a birdcage, the spiral-fluted stem with upspringing acanthus-wrapped baluster base with egg-and-dart molded lower collar, the grooved cabriole legs headed by asymmetrcial rockwork and acanthus clasps terminating in scrolled rockwork pad feet, formerly with casters
27½in. (70cm.) high, 26½in. (67.5cm.) diameter
