The formerly ebonised case with gilt-brass pineapple finials and brass handle to inverted bell top, glazed side panels, on bracket feet, the dial with floral basket and scroll spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with mock pendulum and date apertures, applied with a silvered plaque signed Godfrie Poy/London, cut blued steel hands, with strike/silent ring in the arch, the eight day twin gut fusee movement with five pillars, verge escapement and strike on bell, pull quarter repeat on six bells, the back plate elaborately engraved with foliate scrolls around a repeat signature; case adapted and possibly associated; key
