CASE: with brass handle to bell top, now silvered pineapple finials to corners, glazed side panels, with floral caryatid mounts to the front angles, on brass bracket feet DIAL: 6¾ in. wide brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered chapter ring, matted centre with date aperture, the arch with subsidiary rings for strike/not strike and chime/not chime, signed on a plaque between 'Rob.t Henderson/London', with six tune selection above ('Miss Fox's Minuet/ye fair Posses'd/March in Scipio/Suky bids me/Miss Murray's Minuet/Nancy Dawson') MOVEMENT: six pillars, triple line fusees with verge escapement, hour strike on bell and music on a further fourteen bells with twenty-six hammers using 7½ in. pinned barrel positioned across the top of a foliate engraved back plate, trip repeats for strike and music trains; restorations
