The oval plate within moulded borders surmounted by a carved floral cresting and surrounded by foliate scrolls and husk swags above a conforming apron

Acquired by Sir Sydney Barratt from Phillips of Hitchin Ltd., Herts., 5 June 1956 for Summerhill, Staffordshire and later installed at Crowe Hall, Bath, 1961, and by descent.
