tapering flattened rectangular grey agate case with domed top and base, pierced gold cagework mounts stamped with reeded scrolls, foliage and birds, hinge at the short end, the inside fitted with steel scissors with gold handles, a gold folding knife with steel blade, a bodkin with gold handle and two gold-mounted ivory tablets; suspended from the base of a hinged gilt-metal clasp inset with two cartouche-shaped grey agate panels and hung with two agate breloques with chased gold mounts, in fitted black shagreen case
