MARK OF WILLIAM STROUD, LONDON, 1813
Shaped circular with gadrooned border, leaf-capped scroll handle, detachable conical snuffer and nozzle, the base, snuffer and nozzle each engraved with three crests, together with an extra snuffer, marked underneath, on nozzle and snuffer
5½ in. (14 cm.) diam.
13 oz. 15 dwt. (428 gr.)
The crests are those of Wellesley, Pole and Colley, for William Wellesley-Pole (1763-1845), later 1st Baron Maryborough and 3rd Earl of Mornington.
