Shaped oval and with shell and rocaille heightened gadrooned rim, later engraved with two coats-of-arms, marked underneath

The impaled arms are those of Littledale impaling Dawson, for Anthony Littledale (1777-1820), a Liverpool merchant and his wife Mary (1779-1855) daughter of Pudsey Dawson (1752-1816), a merchant and mayor of Liverpool, whom he married in 1809.
The second arms are those of Gordon of Tobago as granted in 1788.
