A GERMAN BARQOQUE OAK, WALNUT, HUNGARIAN ASH AND PARQUETRY KAS
Late 17th Century, with central cut for moving and reformed
The molded cornice overhanging a panelled frieze, the pair of doors flanked by spreading Doric columns upon grotesque mask volutes and each centered by a blind archway with panelled surround beneath a seraphim and seaweed marquetry trailing to each side and bottom, over two short panelled drawers and bun feet, rebacked and remounted, previously cut through the center and rejoined, inscribed in white chalk Lot 3, and in black paint B6/WIEN and 45, with traces of an obliterated printed paper label
