CASE: the octagonal case with domed top and central flowering urn finial, pierced brass sides, supported by two brass-mounted fluted green-stained columns on ebonised pedestal bases, suspending a floral swag with musical trophies, the rectangular plinth with chequered 'floor' and pierced brass gallery DIAL: the enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic five minutes and pierced gilt-brass hands MOVEMENT: the twin-barrel movement with brocot escapement and rack striking to bell, the backplate stamped Marti, with sunburst pendulum with classical mask to centre
