Decorated allover with porcelain plaques painted with courting couples, with rectangular hinged top lifting to two retractable drawers, the upper drawer fitted with compartments of various sizes and inset with a porcelain inkwell in the form of a lady's head, the lower drawer fitted with a sliding velvet-lined writing surface, on triple floral-painted fluted baluster supports joined by a boss mounted with a scantily-clad Muse, on scrolled legs each mounted with a putto emblematic of a Season
