The three-quarter galleried and green leather-lined rectangular top above a long frieze drawer fitted with a hinged writing surface flanked by two wells, the solid cylinder shutter enclosing a sliding green leather-lined writing surface and an open compartment flanked by pilasters and two banks of three drawers each, the sides with adjustable candle branches, above two long and two short drawers simulating eight drawers flanked and divided by Corinthian pilasters, the upper drawer fitted with wells with hinged or tambour shutters, the sides with slides, on turned tapering legs headed by fluted collars and terminating in ball feet, the upper drawer previously fitted with further slides
