Each rectangular and with a hinged cover, the first applied with a facsimilie signature 'Helena' below a Royal Princess's coronet, the interior gilded, the second rectangular, set with a gold and turquoise facsmilie signature 'Helena', with a sapphire thumbpiece, engraved 'Sep'tr 1900' the first one marked on each side
3¾ in. (9 cm.) long
The inscriptions are for Princess Helena (1846-1923), 3rd daughter of Queen Victoria, wife of Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein (1831-1917). (2)
