Ming dynasty (1368-1644)
The eighteen-armed figure seated in dhyanasana on a multi-layered lotus throne raised on a fenced hexagonal pedestal with two smaller figures on either side, the primary hands raised before the chest in vajra-anjalikarmamudra, the remaining eight pairs each holding attributes or positioned in mudras, the flowing robes with floral borders, the face with a serene expression and crowned with a reticulated tiara bearing the image of Amitabha, pigment retouches
