A GILT LACQUERED-BRONZE FIGURE OF A LUOHAN
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The arhat stands on a lotus base with his hands held before his chest. He wears flowing robes with hems incised with a foliate pattern. The face is downcast with full cheeks and heavy-lidded eyes beneath a furrowed brow, and is flanked by pendulous earlobes.
