Gandhara, 2nd/3rd century
Finely executed with his right hand raised in abhayamudra, the palm incised with a chakra, clad in a long flowing sanghati and adorned with multiple necklaces, the face with aquiline nose and almond-shaped eyes centered by a raised urna, the locks of hair pulled into a well-carved spiraled topknot, backed by a nimbus
