A GREEK BRONZE FIGURE OF EROS
Hellenistic Period, Circa 1st Century B.C.
The slender youthful figure depicted nude, standing with his weight on his right leg, the left relaxed and drawn back, his wings up-raised, his head turned to his right, the long hair center-parted and tied in a top-knot, the pupils of his lidded eyes recessed, his right arm outstretched and the left lowered and bent at the elbow, now-missing attributes once held in his hands
