With a globular body, low foot, cylindrical neck, trefoil mouth and double-reeded handle, painted in brown slip with a central frieze of panels enclosing geometric motifs, including two panels each with a marsh bird facing right, with a band of Z's above and a band of crosshatched lozenges below, a band of double axes and vertical strokes encircling the body, and bands of crosshatched triangles and lozenges on the neck
