Incorporating J. D. Dougall 'Lockfast' patent No. 1128 of 1860, late pattern, the patent slide-and tilt-action operated by means of an unusual push-forward snap-action underlever, the rebounding backlocks with ornate C-scroll hammers, the hammer spurs of hare's-ear form, best foliate-scroll engraving with traces of hardening-colour, highly-figured stock with pistolgrip, engraved pistolgrip-cap and ebonite extension, the fine damascus barrels with game-rib
