Lined in red baize (small patches of wear and insect damage, one compartment wall altered, another incomplete), the lid with J. Purdey trade label with '314½ Oxford Street near Hanover Square' address and with hand-written instructions for loads and loading (holed), complete with its original leather outer-cover with owner's initials 'D.D'
