Of curved tapering form, one end terminating in the head of a fish, a dark inclusion enhancing the appearance of the scales of its underbelly, inset red eyes, the remainder carved with poppy sprays, the cover decorated by a four-petalled flower-head surrounded by leaves and vines, the chain probably a later addition, one repaired break
