Further details
By combining the traditional jade carving skill with the design in contemporary art, the two-coloured material was beautifully carved into an artwork with distinct contrast in colour that shows three different styles of abstractionism, impressionism and realism. There are many auspicious meanings in this piece. The stairs symbolises "bu bu gao sheng" or "Promotion at every stage", free-flowing deep green clouds symbolises "qing yun zhi shang" or "Smooth sailing career path", and five bats in flight symbolises "wu fu lin meng" or "Arrival of five blessings". Two beads in between the clouds and stairs representing the spiritual and material needs, and also symbolises "hao shi cheng shuang" or "Good things will happen twice".
