拍品专文

The inscription cartouche reads Safaresh-e Muhammad Reza Khan (Commissioned by Muhammad Reza Khan). He appears to have been the most important agent for the commissioning of the best quality Kirman pictorial carpets at this time. His name is found on examples which were woven for a number of prominent Qajar nobles. Another of his commissions is offered as lot 41 in this sale.
