A KOREAN INLAID LACQUER BRUSHPOT, the octagonal body slightly flaring on a spreading foot, each face decorated in mother-of-pearl inlay on a black lacquer ground, two with a turtle swimming underwater, two with a pheasant beside peony, two with a lamb by lingzhi and one with two cranes beside bamboo (chipped, cracked), 15.5cm.; and a circular plaque, decorated in mother-of-pearl inlay on a black lacquer ground with two turtles swimming underwater within three triangle-pattern bands (some inlay missing), 21.5cm. diam., both Choson Period, 18th/19th Century
