OTTOMAN TURKEY, 18TH CENTURY
With rounded body rising from short foot tapering at the shoulder before slightly everted rim, the white ground painted in cobalt-blue, bole-red, yellow, black and green with a main register of stylised red and yellow tulips set inside a lattice of leaves on a ground of cusped foliage, a border of scrolling flowering vine around the mouth, maker's mark on underside, minor hair crack otherwise intact
